Tongue in Check

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

                                             Psalms 31:24

Are like Christ’s voice and the Anti-Christ’s voices. Compare and see the difference

The end of the world used to scare me. I think it was because I was uncertain about my relationship with God. I had a lot of doubts probably because I was basing my faith on my own goodness. When I finally saw how short I fell from being perfect, I understood how amazing God’s grace really was and still is.

Anyway, I think it all has to do with knowing the difference between Christ’s voice and the one who that speaks for the world. Eventually, the world system will have One voice that will sound like it has all the answers. The will call him the Messiah, the Savior, however, he will be the Anti-Christ. Everything he does will appear to be good, but in the end this false man will show his true colors.

It does say that he will be so convincing that even some who are believers might be fooled. How will we tell those voices apart? Now, here is a list of things they will appear to do the same and differently. I hope this helps.

Both of them have power in their words.

Both of them perform miracles.

Both claim to be the Savior of the World.

Both claim to be doing good for others and the world.

Both are considered peacemakers.

Both will shake the world.

Both tasted death and experienced resurrected.

(Wow, up to this point how can we not be fooled by a fake. I think it is all in the next points that you will see the difference. It really is in the words they both use. Words are powerful and telling things.)

Jesus builds up God and others. The Anti-Christ builds up himself.

Jesus is meek and humble, but knew when to use anger when challenging sin. The Anti-Christ uses his power to force others to serve him. When he unleashes his anger, it sets off the end of the world.

Jesus came to die for sin and the free men from it. The Anti-Christ basically endorses sin as free expression. He not only condones sinful behavior, but he encourages people to relish it. He is called the man of lawlessness.

Jesus told us that we can’t be whole without God. The Anti-Christ says that man can be whole without God. According to him, we are gods in our own right. He has come to show men how to become so.

Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The Anti-Christ sees all religion as good and they are there to serve him. He finds a way to unite all of the world-wide.

Words 2

Jesus gave up his life on Earth for a kingdom His father would give him for eternity. The Anti-Christ takes the kingdoms of the world and challenged Heaven to take it from him.

When Jesus lived on Earth he lived a perfect life. When he died and rose again, he had the Glory of God shining through Him as naturally as breathing. The Anti-Christ will appear to be a good man. When he dies and resurrects, he will be the Devil incarnate.

One claims to be the Son of God and the other God Himself.

I don’t know about you, but I feel better about being able to tell the difference between the two. God’s power is in his tongue so words are precious things to Him. He tells us that even the human tongue has power of life and death. So, examine the claims of Christ against the words of his carbon copy.

No man, or devil can be something he is not, no matter how much he claims to be. If you want to know how it turns out, it is again a matter of keeping that tongue in check.

Words 5

Jesus defeats the Anti-Christ and his entire host with the words from His mouth.

I guess the final words ends with the One who started it all with words in the first place.
