Use the Force…Lucas

By GPAvants

Recently, I saw a video about the making of Star Wars. I knew that George Lucas was a man of few words from the documentary. However, at one point in the video he shared his definition of the Force that I found very enlightening.

He said that the light side and the dark side are really like choices people make with their lives. Some choose to show kindness and selfless love while others hate what is good and decide to do things for themselves. It did come down to what you decided to embrace that defines you and your path in life.

It almost sounded like a sermon to his writers and he even added an amen at the end.

It is kind of cool to see where people get their ideas from. I really think that Lucas took his ideas from good solid truths of right and wrong, human nature, and divine intervention. Check out the clip below and tell me your sin in his “forceful” ideas. Maybe George is trying to tell us something about his faith. Interesting it is…yes.

See what you think.
